We will also be comparing similarities and difference between cities and our local area.
PE
Our PE days are, Tuesdays and Fridays. Children are expected to bring a PE kit. White t-shirt, blue shorts and trainers. Please provide children with plasters for earrings if they cannot take them out.

Snack
Toast is available for 20p a day. You can pay for each half term in one go or send children with their money daily or weekly. All children are encouraged to bring a water bottle in with water only.

Reading
All children have a reading record and a reading book. The children must bring this into school every day. We encourage the children to read at least 3 times a week at home, if they can read more, fantastic! If you feel your child is able, they can sign what pages they have read themselves. Please return the books when they are finished as we can exchange, if we do not receive books, the children will not be given another one until it is returned.
Homework
Every Friday the children will receive an A4 sheet with their new spelling list, a times table to focus on and a spelling activity. This is to be completed at home. The children can also access Times Table Rockstars and Bug Club.
