Thematic Subject One: Geography

 Describe and understand key aspects of human geography including: types of settlement and land use, economic activity including trade links and the distribution of natural resources including energy, food, minerals and water.

Fieldwork

 Understand a widening range of geographical terms e.g. specific topic vocabulary – urban, rural, land use, sustainability, tributary, trade links.

What I should already know:

- Which good that some countries trade.

- How goods are passed and travel between countries.

- Where specific food is shipped from.

- The climate of places is affected by their location (e.g. the equator/Tropics) and this can affect the food that is produced.
