Use fieldwork to observe, measure, record and present the human and physical features in the local area using a range of methods, including sketch maps, plans and graphs.

Use maps, atlases, globes and digital mapping to locate countries and describe their features.

Use the eight point compass, four and six-figure references, symbols and key to build his/her knowledge of the UK and wider world.
