The Library are coming again!
We can’t wait to welcome the School Library service back to The Hive for another sensory story session! We have also requested some more books to borrow from our library account for Summer 1!
Our big question for Summer 1 is ‘Which animals like in the rainforest?’ our learning activities will help us answer this!

Through our topic on ‘Which animals live in the rainforest?’ we will be looking at and talking about different animals and their homes. If you have any photos of your child with their pets or other animals we would love to see them!

Look out on dojo for The Hive joining in with special events this half term.
We love listening to and expressing ourselves to music in the Hive! We enjoy music through our sensory sessions, musical interaction and charanga. We have loved using the glockenspiels to create our own music in spring 2 and can’t wait to practice our skills more through the summer! We are also going to be learning some new songs as part of our musical interaction sessions, we can’t wait! Forest school!
We are still loving learning our Makaton signs of the week! Make sure you are checking dojo for these and learning along with us!
As we move into the summer term and hopefully some warmer weather we are looking forward to taking more of our learning outside! We hope to spend some more time in our fantastic forest school area exploring and making links between our environment and the rainforest. On sunny days please provide us with appropriate clothing
