We wanted to update you on a few things: There's a reminder of this months HEADSPACE event, Jaz Ampaw-Farr joins us for tomorrow's session and you can sign up if you haven't already on page 4.

On page 5 we're looking for the brave ones of you to join us in some extra curricular fun!

Remember if you need some support Teaching Personnel have been raising funds to do just that.

Great opportunites, savings, and support available to ALPSIT schools.

One of our close partners Teaching personnel have been working really hard to support families at this very difficult time.

They set up a Just Giving page (https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/freeschoolmealsmerseyside? utm_term=XBqxrMNmK) to raise some much needed funds for those going without and have asked that we share this information with our schools.

If you think your families could benefit from food parcels or paper packs etc please contact us to put you in touch with them. They have already been able to assist some of our school community and we are incredibly thankful.

Great opportunites, savings, and support available to ALPSIT schools.

Best Practice will be holding a briefing session on Early Years Initial Teacher Training (Tuesday 26th January, 4pm) to outline how the programme could be of benefit to partner schools. The meeting will be hosted by Sian Marsh, Director of Early Years and will briefly discuss: • research linking early years care and education to life-long achievement and wellbeing • financial and demonstrable academic benefits to schools • • • •

funding programme routes and outlines staff training partner EYITT training groups

Updates Following from our incredibly humbling HEADSPACE session with Chris Lubbe some schools asked whether he could offer any sessions aimed at year 6 classes.

Are you game?

Are you familiar with Taskmaster the now famed Channel 4 gameshow created by Alex Horne and presented with comedian and ex teacher Greg Davies?

Well either way you're in for a treat! Klare Rufo, with her regular Klare ways, has decided ALPSIT will be creating our very own version of the hit tv show and you, our schools, are asked to be its contestants.

We're super excited and getting very carried away thinking of tasks the question is are you up for the challenge? We need you and your team to play with us. All tasks will be set to complete in your own time, recorded and sent in. Then we'll stream a live show which will be recorded on Crowdcast and then be uploaded to our private Youtube. So rest assured there will be safety in numbers, for you!

If you're up for a bit of fun and ready for some light hearted distraction then please put yourselves forward via THIS FORM The plan is to do a tournament so please don't despair if you don't make the first episode. There will be more with a view for a grand finale down the line.
