Solution Satellites Solution Satellite 1 now has 8 projects that will be up and running in January and at least another 4 on the way! Project 1: EYFS. As anticipated this project is over subscribed and we are looking for schools to support. If you are a school with fantastic EYFS provision and interested in working with St Gerards and supporting up to 3 schools across the Trust then please get in touch. Congratulations to the 4 schools who will definitely be starting work with Sacred Heart in Warrington in January. Project 3: Balance. Balance is a new formative assessment tool that is helping to revolutionise pedagogy of assessment in the classroom. Created by a deputy headteacher at his wits end with assessment cycles and excessive marking he was talking home. Balance is named so to support teachers to regain some work life balance whist still supporting learning and assessment. We are looking for 8 schools to participate in a hub to pilot Balance in their school. There is a cost implication, but it is significantly reduced. If you are interested in finding out more, we have two info sessions at Angel Solutions on Friday 18th January am and pm. We are so excited at the response to this project! We have 45 schools already signed up to be part of this. There are just three year 5 class spaces left. Working in partnership with St Oswald’s in Chorley and Deputy Mitchell (follow him on twitter) for a small fee £125 your year 5 class could be globally blogging too.
