Pearson's continue to offer great support during this time with plenty of free access to their digital primary resources. Schools can benefit from such programs like Bug Club, Power English and Rapid. Find out more on their website https://bit.ly/Pearsonprimaryresources A brilliant collaboration is also coming up that you may like to know about in relation to Reading Together Day on 16th July? There will be a schedule of support HERE and it's all free - you may already know all about it - it sounds really good!

Collins have offered the following proposal for ALPSIT schools as part of our new partnership. This is a starting point with aims to tailor their offer to meet the bespoke needs of individual schools.

Dear School Leaders,

STEAM SCHOOL is a virtual academy for future inventors & digital entrepreneurs aged 9-14 years old. They host 6 missions every year exploring #STEAM4GOOD projects and futuristic technology. Learners can journey through each mission by participating in weekly broadcasts with STEAM experts and choose from 18 different challenges to complete as scientists, engineers, artists, digital makers and entrepreneurs.

They help schools to: 1. Connect their students with inspirational STEAM role models working for global brands and innovative startups via their weekly live broadcasts.

2. Deliver an online virtual STEAM extra curricular experience that inspires young people to learn more about real world science and technology and develop 'future ready' skills.

3. Enables students to complete STEAM challenges independently and for teachers to monitor/celebrate participation, progress and achievement via their school dashboard and digital badges.

Previous broadcast guests include global brands like Instagram, Pokemon Go, Google and Fortnite.

Courses/CPD Available

We are over the moon to be able to announce our brand new partnership with The National College. They are the leading provider of remotely accessible online CPD, trusted by over 18,000 schools and 120,000 users. There are already over 200 webinars available to access at your leisure in a huge variety of topics. With new ones being added every month. The National College are the provider currently hosting Barry Carpenters fabulous sessions exploring the Recovery curriculum. The offer they have made us is unmissable.

We will be holding a zoom meeting to explore the platform with The National College and find out about this fantastic offer.
