Maths In maths this week, we will be looking at addition. The children will recap the various words used for addition such as total, plus, add, altogether and participate in various practical activities such as adding two amounts of marshmallows to a mug. Understanding the World
In Literacy we will be continuing to read the story of Little Red Riding Hood. This week we will discuss alternative versions of the traditional tale and will be taking on the role of each character , discussing their feelings and retelling the story.
Our new topic will be ‘People Who Help Us’ and will be supported with a visit from the fire service. Alongside this we will be investigating and testing which materials make the best wheels. In the outdoor area, children can create ‘wanted’ posters to display in the police station.
