English Poetry: We will learn how to
Mathematics Addition and subtraction:
write a Haiku poem related to ‘Rivers’.
We will learn to add and subtract numbers mentally and using formal written methods (column addition and subtraction) with increasingly large numbers. This will include solving addition and subtraction multi-step word problems.
We will learn how to create a persuasive broadcast based around the pollution of rivers. We will explore and write a playscript to perform to an audience.
Statistics: PSHE and RE November will be ‘Diversity Month’ with a range of activities planned.

We will read and interpret information in tables and solve a variety of problems using information presented in a line graph.
Science Animals including humans: We will explore and describe the changes as humans develop to old age.
Geography Rivers:We will learn about the physical processes connected to rivers and river landscapes and the interaction between physical and human environments through river flooding. Skills will include:
PE Swimming: We will further develop our skills and confidence in swimming. Urban Dance and Drama: We will be creating a Christmas production to be performed on the 21st December.
