The hawk is mainly found on the Galapagos islands these volcanic islands in the pacific ocean are located of the coast of Ecuador south America.

The Galapagos hawk once occupied all 18 islands now they are believed to be extinct on five of them.

Hawks are birds of prey they have very good eye sight, muscular legs and sharp beaks hawks are known as a rare bird only seen on certain islands like isle of Aaran it is also known to have lots of rare birds like golden eagles and are beautiful while in flight
