Education Awards We are lucky to have received several nominations for ‘School of the Year’ in this year’s Education Awards from the Lancaster Guardian. ROSARY To help the children to recognise the month of October as a month dedicated to Our Lady, Key Stage Two will come together on Wednesday morning to say a decade of the Rosary. If your child wishes to bring their own Rosary Beads, they can. Children in Years 4, 5 and 6 have all been given Rosary Beads in previous years. Year 3 will be presented with some on Tuesday. ATTENDANCE Our attendance level is currently 96.5% please help us to improve this by bringing your child to school every day. Reception – 94% Year 1 –96.6% Year 2 –88% Year 3 – 98.2% Year 4 – 99.7% Year 5 – 99.3% Year 6 – 97.5% You can now report absence using the Schudio App.

DEBTS We are owed £2100 Please check your Parentpay account to see if you owe anything and if you have any queries, contact us. It is your responsibility as a parent to pay for services that the school provides in advance. Letters have been sent home this evening with balance reminders – please do not ignore them!

We are collecting items for Global Links, please see the letter for further details. CLASS WORSHIP Our Class Worship will be led by Year 1 next Wednesday at 2.50pm. Parents are welcome.

HEAD LICE A timely reminder to check your child’s hair for headlice and treat over the weekend if necessary.

BEETHAM MILL A reminder that Year 3 & Year 4 are visiting Beetham Mill next Friday. If you haven’t already paid, you must do so by Wednesday. The children should wear full school uniform and school will provide a lunch for them. Many thanks! PTA MEETING We are looking forward to seeing you at the PTA meeting on Monday at 6pm. Tickets now available on ParentPay. Christmas Fayre – Save the date! Our Christmas Fayre will be held on Friday 1st December – more details to follow.
