Attendance Our attendance level is currently 96.5% please help us to improve this by bringing your child to school every day. Reception – 98.0% Year 1 –98..0% Year 2 –95.9% Year 3 – 94.3% Year 4 – 96.7% Year 5 – 96.8% Year 6 – 96.5% You can now report absence using the Schudio App. FIRST DAY RESPONSE If your child is off school for any reason, it is very important that you let us know before 9.00am; there is usually someone in school from 8:00am each morning. The reason for this is that we need to ensure the safety of all children who attend the school. If your child is not in school by 9:30am and we do not know why, a member of staff will text you to find out why. If we do not get a response, we will call you. You can inform us of your child’s absence using the Schudio App which is free and sends an automatic email to the school.

Thank you for your support with the changes of time for our school day. The children are enjoying the longer time for eating and more learning is taking place. Just to remind you that lessons start at 08.45 and any child arriving after this time will be classed as late. The side and back gate will be closed from 08.45; however it will be staffed so that parents can get out. If you arrive after this time, you will be directed to bring your child to the front office and sign them in on the electronic system. This requires you to give a reason for the lateness. Please do not send your child to the office alone as occasionally there is no-one there and this causes a safeguarding issue. Until children come through the coded door, they are your responsibility. If children are late, they are miss out on valuable Guided reading time – please work with us to ensure your child does not fall behind.

Whole School Photograph The PTA are selling copies of our whole school photograph. There are various size options – please order on ParentPay.

DEBTS We are owed £2140 Please check your Parentpay account to see if you owe anything and if you have any queries, contact us. It is your responsibility as a parent to pay for services that the school provides in advance. We will be calling to follow up on Monies owed from next week.
