Surprise Treasure Ladybirds and Caterpillars discovered a surprise treasure map left by the pirates. The pirates left us clues around our classroom which lead us to the treasure! We found cakes, chocolate coins and two new swords that we need to take care of for the pirates. The pirates also left us a brand new role play area called ‘Treasure Island’ and we loved dressing up and acting as pirates in it.

More pictures at www.bishopmartin.lancs.sch.uk Fe Fi Fo Fum! We had an unwanted intruder in Owls class this week! We used our detective skills to discover it was the giant from our class story Jack and the Beanstalk. Look at the chaos he caused!

On Wednesday the children will be taken on an Autumn walk around the school to collect leaves and natural materials which they will use in 3.15 Club to create some fabulous Autumn Art. Our 'Film Night Friday' movie next week will be 'Moana'. Year 5 Tigers have had a visit from Debt Aware this week. They have learnt the difference between WANTS and NEEDS and how debt can become a problem if not managed well.
