• This is the lake in the centre of the city around which the original Reykjavík grew.

Hallgrímskirkja Church

• This imposing church at the top Skólavöðustigur is a fantastic sight!

• Designed to resemble a mountain of Basaltic Lava, it was completed in 1974 and named after Iceland’s most well-known poet Hallgrímur Pétursson.

Reykjadalur Hike

• Self-guided hike through one of Iceland’s largest geothermal areas.

• Get up close to the steaming hot springs, bubbling mud puddles and bathe in the warm rivers.

• A unique way to experience and understand Iceland’s geothermal activity.

Field Study An experienced and knowledgeable Field Study Tutor will Tutor accompany the group throughout the tour, bringing the experience to life with that extra bit of geographical input.

They will also be on-hand to provide additional support to the group.
