Events On Wednesday, 12th July we will be holding our annual Sports Day. The event will be held at Stanley Park. We would like to encourage as many parents as possible to come along. You are also welcome to bring a picnic and join the children for lunch. Once again we will be taking part in Race for Life. Please could we ask all children to bring £1.00 into school on Wednesday. Every child who takes part in the event will receive a medal. Sponsorship forms are available. Please remember your PE kits!!
Serious safety concerns have been raised about Snapchat's latest update which can reveal a user's exact location on a map. Snapchat is one of the top five social media platforms used by children and young people. The feature known as Snap Map is part of the latest update and shares a user's exact location on a map, the time of day they were there and their speed of travel. We strongly recommend that if you have this app then you go into the settings and select Ghost Mode, which means that you are the only person who can see your location on the map. More information is available at http://www.childnet.com/blog/introducing-snapmaps-the-newlocation-sharing-feature-in-snapchat

Please can we remind you that chewing gum, sweets and fidget spinners are not permitted at RLA. Any items brought in to school will be confiscated and parents will be requested to collect them from the office. Thank you for your cooperation.
Farewell
On Tuesday, 18th July the fire service will be coming into school to give a talk to pupils in years 3-6. This is to ensure all children keep themselves safe during the summer holiday.
We would like to say farewell to Mr Wilsdon after 15 happy years at Revoe. We wish him all the best for the future.
