Sports Day and Summer Fair Thank you for your support at this year's Sports Day and Summer Fair. I think you will agree that it was a huge success and all children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was lovely to see so many faces and we would like to say a special well done to Miss McKnight for winning the teacher race and Mr Ferguson for winning the parent race. Prizes will be drawn on Friday 14th July and raffle tickets are still for sale in the main office. Well done to Leon Leonard in Year 3 for correctly guessing the weight of the cake (9Ib) and to Luis Stalker for guessing the name of the minion (IKE). A big thank you to Luis for sharing the cake with the Rabbits class. "Everyone will remember this Sports Day because the children chose the events they wanted to do. It was an amazingly fun afternoon and we couldn't have had a better final sports day at Bishop Martin!" Jamie Dickinson (Y6). We thank all the parents, children and staff for all donations sent in. Also thanks to local companies donating ie: Proctor & Gamble-Skelmersdale, Walkers-Skelmersdale, Halfords Preston, Starbucks -Bickerstaffe, Andrea Blackwell-Price, Dave Fendle and Kevin Morgan for their contributions.
