Teaching and Learning Celebration
Very sadly, we have seen a big increase in broken glass on the Rec and damage to the Rec fencing. Please be extra vigilant to ensure that you and your children remain safe.
Sun Protection
Also, a number of children and young people have been caught on site which is extremely dangerous behaviour. We are passing on details to the Police and local high schools and a number of these culprits have already been dealt with. Thank you for your information which will help us to hopefully prevent a nasty injury (or worse!).
Hot weather means suncream, water and hats please. We have seen a number of children with severe sun burn, some resulting in absence from school. This is not acceptable so please ensure that your child is safe and protected at all times by applying sun cream before school and before they go out to play. Please also remind them to drink water regularly to keep their body healthy! Your child’s health matters! Thank you
Fire Evacuation
At Revoe, we are really proud of our dedicated team. A number of staff have recently volunteered to work with a national consultant, who has spent 2 days in our school and noticed a real improvement in the teaching and learning which happens each day at RLA. He has also noticed a big improvement in the children’s engagement in their learning which make us all really proud. Having such a team of committed professionals, all driven to do the best job possible for you and your child, is amazing! But we’re not stopping at this … we want you to be proud to say that your child attends Revoe, a good academy at our next inspection.
Our children followed our planned evacuation impeccably and left the site safely, calmly and in good time. We have practised our new arrangements to ensure the building work does not affect your child’s safety, our number 1 priority.
Vandalism on site and on the Rec play area.
