Child Friendly Home School Agreement

The Catholic Parish promises St Anne’s has a Home School Agreement for the school’s children, parents, staff and church to follow. This is a child friendly version for all of the pupils at St Anne’s .

Agreement .Support the school with regular meetings. .Involve the school in parish events. .Work with staff and parents to develop children’s faith .Involve the school in leading a mass or celebration every month.

Family promises

.The family will make sure that their child arrives on time, ready to learn by 8:55am. .Make sure that he/she is at school often and that they send a letter if they are absent. .The family will help their children in their homework. .The family will support their child to wear a full school uniform every day, including black school shoes and have an appropriate PE kit in school. .The family will let the school know if there is anything going on that might affect the child’s work or behaviour.

.The family will make sure the child gets enough sleep and has a healthy diet. .Be kind to school neighbours especially when parking. .Attend school parish and class masses whenever possible, throughout the year.

School promises

.Teachers will teach children from nursery to year 6 to the best of their ability. .Teachers will not tolerate any type of bullying and will make sure all the children are safe in school and when on school trips. .The school will make sure that the children have a relationship with the church. .The school will make sure that parents are informed of any news by sending newsletters and using the school Twitter account. .The school will make sure they provide affordable school uniforms. .The school will make sure that the parents are informed of their child’s progress through parents evenings.
