Twitter- follow us on twitter at -twitter.com/Stannecrumpsall Water bottles Please ensure your child brings home there water bottle every day and it is washed with hot soapy water and brought in again the next day. You can also send your child in with bottled water if you wish but please no flavoured water or fizzy drinks.

Walk to school week This coming week 15th – 19th may is walk to school week, on Tuesday 16 th May is happy shoesday where the children can wear fancy shoes and their own clothes for a £1 donation.

Attendance Attendance year to date for the whole school is currently at 95.6% our school target is 98%, as an incentive and with immediate effect until July all classes who achieve 100% attendance each week will be rewarded with ice lollies and extra play or non-uniform.

This year to date school have sent out 42 penalty warnings 33 or which have resulted in parents being fined £120 per child. In addition to this there are currently 4 court cases pending which not only is very costly for parents but also comes with a criminal record.

Uniform Please ensure your child is in full school uniform including correct footwear we have several incidents of not following school policy children have been coming in wearing trainers and earrings.

Polish Cultural Evening This will be held on the 18th May at 6pm until 7.30pm in the school hall. All tickets are now taken for this event, Thank you to all those for your continued support.

Half term We finish for half term on Friday 26th May at 1pm prompt, please ensure you collect your children on time. We are back in school on Monday 12 th June at 8.45pm.

Sporting news Well done to our netball team who took part in there competition this week although they didn’t win the children had a wonderful time. Also well done to our cricket team who have their follow up match on the 18th May, Good luck!

School website Our school website has now been updated and is full of lots of information and updates from the whole school with lots of new photographs of the children.

Are you entitled to free school meals?

Year 2 parent’s universal school meals come to an end this school year, if you think you may be entitled to free school meals please come and see the staff in the office.

Thursday 18th May – Year 5H at our Lady’s for CSI workshop.

Thursday 18th May – Polish cultural evening Friday 19th May – Whole school class photos.

Thursday 25th May – Year 6 first aid training at North Manchester General Hospital.

Friday 26th May – Parents evening 1.30 - 6pm.

Tuesday 13th June – Blackpool Zoo trip Year 1 Wednesday 14th June – Blackpool Zoo Year 2 Friday 14th July – Sunday 16th July - Year 6 residential trip to Winmarleigh hall.
