Dates for your diary 15th May — Y4 Fit to Go Event at BFC. 17th May — Share a Pencil Day. 18th May — Maths Day. 22nd May — Science Week. 26th May — RLA closes for Half Term. 17th July 3.30-4.30pm — Parent Consultation Monday, SATs – We are very proud of all of our Y6 children who took their SATs this week. The children took their tests in a mature, repsonsible and positive manner. Thank you to all our parents who ensured that the children arrived in school on time. Reminder—All our Y6 Booster clubs have now finished. Y2 children will complete their SATs next week. Your child’s test results will be sent home with their new-look pupil report at the beginning of July.
Toys/Games
Parents and children from Revoe Children's Centre enjoyed meeting Betterstart, NSPCC & Esther Rantzen in their newly opened early years natural play area in Revoe park. Designed to encourage play, learning and family fun for the under 5's in a natural environment, it was designed with the children of RLA & Children’s Centre, who designed the Park and talked about what they would like to see in this area as part of their curriculum. The area has now been transformed into their vision which is great! After many months of planning with local people, children and professionals with funding from Betterstart,this disused bowling green has been turned into a wonderful family friendly outdoor space due to open in 2 weeks time!!

Waterpark
Summer Uniform Just a reminder that our summer uniform for girls is navy/white check dress and boys may wear plain grey shorts. Black school shoes must be worn by all children!
Betterstart
Fidget Spinners are not permitted at RLA as they are disrupting teaching and learning. This also applies to action figures/ other toys. Please ensure your child does not bring them in to school. Any toys brought in to school will be collected in and returned at the end of the day. Thank you for your support.
There a still a few places available on the Y6 (current Y5) Waterpark visit in September. If you would like to book a place for your child or require further information please contact our school office.
