HEAD LICE
The school has had an incredible two weeks of activity and learning around the theme of 'Healthy Me!'.
The Year 5 Koalas took part in an extremely muddy, but hugely enjoyable 'Military' style boot-camp training session!
The school has held its very own 'Great Bishop Bake-Off' with our own Paul Hollywood (Mr McDonald sporting a very fashionable goatee!) and Mary Berry (Mrs Sealey and her expert cake-making knowledge). Each class designed and made their own healthy cakes and snacks for a blind tasting competition! Results will be in the next issue.
February
Lots of really interesting work around E-safety and being 'Healthy and Safe' online has been carried out which has been designed to make our pupils more aware and more resilient about the benefits and potential dangers around the online community and their Digital Footprint.
All the children have had the opportunity to work around the school, with different staff and teachers they don't normally see, which in itself is healthy for having a positive, happy school!
A huge thank you to all the teachers and wider staff who made this themed event so successful and also to your children who enthusiastically threw themselves into everything!
