Dates for your diary 10th February—RLA closes for Half term 20th February—RLA reopens 2nd March—World Book day Please can we remind children and parents to take care when walking to and from RLA. When using the pedestrian and the pelican crossings please wait until vehicles have stopped before proceeding on the crossing —even if the green man appears. Please can we also remind parents and carers not to park on the zig zags outside RLA and also refrain from stopping in the middle of the road to drop off/collect children. The safety of you and our pupils is paramount to us!

WORLD BOOK DAY World Book Day will take place on Thursday 2nd March. We will be holding a 'Book Week' including whole school events, such as: * Bring a prop to represent a book character. * Dragons-mouth' Theatre Company. * Year 6 hosting book character fancy dress event. * Author Dan Worsley will be coming into school to lead an assembly and share his stories. * Potato character competition. Prizes to be won ! * Every child will receive a book using their World Book Day token. Further information on these and additional events will be sent home after half term.

Maths Course—Maths classes start in our Centre from Monday 20th February, from 9.30am—11.30am. Course will be delivered through Seasiders - Adult Learning and covers Introductory levels 1, 2, 3, and Basic Levels 1 & 2 up to pre GCSE.

Stop Smoking—From Monday, 6th March Smoking Cessation will be offering an additional session. This clinic will be held every Monday and Wednesday. Letters have been sent home today advising parents of a free app called Musical.ly. This app contains adult material and states that it is not be used by children under 13, but their terms and conditions say that it is intended for users over the age of 18.
