MOCK INTERVIEW DAY
Career Talks From September to December 2016 we welcomed lots of different career speakers into school to help our students make choices about their future careers. “Year 11, 12 and 13 Mock Interview Day On the 16th November 2016 a Mock Interview Day was held at the ACE Academy. All Year 11, Year 12, Year 13 were allocated a 20 minute Mock Interview timeslot with a Business Representative. Business Representatives completed a feedback form for each interview they carried out. The feedback form rated students on their Confidence, Appearance, Punctuality, Eye Contact, Body Language and Communication Skills and scored students as either Excellent, Good, Ok or Needs Improving. All students in Year 11, 12 and 13 were asked to provide a CV prior to the day for their interviewer to review on the day and give feedback and pointers on how to improve. All Year 11 also completed an application form for a mock job along with a letter of application. Students will be given a copy of the feedback form and a copy will be put on their file.
