Maths In maths this week we will be looking at subtraction. The children will participate in practical activities such as recording how many cookies a puppet eats and will begin to use a number line as support.
Literacy In Literacy we will be continuing to read the story of Little Red Riding Hood. This week we will discuss alternative versions of the traditional tale and will be taking on the role of each character , discussing their feelings and retelling the story.
Understanding the World Our new topic will be ‘People Who Help Us’ and will begin with a visit from the ambulance service. Alongside this we will be experimenting with ice, making ice pictures and discovering how to melt the ice in the quickest time.
