Science Living Things and Their Habitats This term through a range of scientific enquiry and investigations children in year 6 will learn to: • classify living things into broad groups according to observable characteristics and based on similarities & differences. • describe how living things have been classified. • give reasons for classifying plants and animals in a specific way.
