9th September 2016 Luke 15:1-32 Though commonly the story of the prodigal son is seen from the perspective of God the Father offering us, the prodigal, unending forgiveness, we also need to read the story from the perspective of the elder son. We too can be jealous of others who we believe are treated better than us, and of those who are forgiven for what we see as unforgivable deeds. We need, however, really to look at these feelings of jealousy and abandonment, and come to understand them in the light of another’s greater need of healing and care.

On Tuesday 13 September we will be celebrating 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl - the number one storyteller. We will be doing a variety of exciting literacy and craft activities. Congratulations Josie Parker and Logan Symonds who have been appointed our new Head Girl and Head Boy.
Year 6 A reminder that the deadline for applying for a place at th the Boys Grammar School is 12 September and the th Girls Grammar School is the 14 September.
