Dear Parent/Guardian As you will know, from September 2017 a new secondary school will open in Littleport. Littleport & East Cambs Academy (LECA) will be the allocated school for all children from Littleport and the surrounding villages. All parents are encouraged to submit applications to Cambridgeshire County Council on-line. As Littleport & East Cambs Academy has only just been allocated an official Department of Education centre number, it may be missing from some of the paperwork that you receive. In order to assist you when applying I am writing to inform you the DfE Centre Number of the new school will be
873 / 4009 This is the number that you should enter on your application form to apply for a place at Littleport & East Cambs Academy. I know that Mr Wing, the Executive Headteacher of the new school has invited all parents and pupils to visit Neale-Wade Academy, either on the Open Evening of 29 th September or at any other time. I would encourage you to take up this offer so that you can see an Active Learning Trust secondary school ‘in action’.
