In history we will be learning who the Ancient Greeks were, where they were from and when they lived. We will be exploring the different city states of Ancient Greece and looking in depth at two of the major examples; Athens and Sparta. We will be investigating the army of this time and also considering why a navy was so important. In addition, we will be studying The Battle of Marathon and considering this from a Greek and Persian perspective. Whilst exploring Greek Plays and theatre, children will design and make their own Greek masks and will understand their purpose. Ancient Comput ing
We will be focusing on our computer programming this term by using Espresso Coding. We will begin to learn technical vocabulary relating to this and begin to design, write and debug programs. In addition to programming we will continue to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly.
