Book Fair

Friday 18th March - Tonight Children’s disco for Reception upwards, at Christ the Servant Church, 6.45 – 8.45pm entrance fee £1.50, refreshments on sale.

There is still time to visit our great book fair! A wide range of books are on sale today 3.15 to 3.45 in the Infant Hall and on Monday 21st March from 2.15 – 4.00 in the Juniors. Anyone visiting the book fair will be able to use their £1 book voucher. Come along and join the fun!

Sumdog Maths Contest Champions!! What great mathematicians we have here at Bishop Martin! It was great to see so many children showing their love of maths when they took part in a week-long contest on Sumdog. 90 classes (over 700 children) from both primary and secondary schools across Lancashire entered, and we were very proud of the efforts from all of our children who took part. We were especially delighted to find out that Y2 Owls class were the overall winners of the contest! We also had some of our classes and individual children featuring on the leader boards: Top 10 students out of 700: Top 10 classes: Daily Winners: 7th position - Sarah Y6 Lions 1st position - Owls March 14th Y2 Owls Class 8th position – Ellemay Y6 Lions 3rd position Y6 Lions March 15th Y6 Lions Class A huge well done to everyone taking part! Look out for the next contest in June – details to follow.
