The children enjoyed an entertaining and informative presentation and had the opportunity to handle a stick insect, a butterfly, a cockroach, a giant snail or a snake! The children were fascinated and no one showed any fear of the beautiful creatures. The mini-beast session was a great hit with both the children and the adults alike! They have remembered lots of information and have been inspired to do more research about mini beasts with books and the Internet. Sumdog Competition Sumdog Lancashire Maths Contest is taking place from today to 17th March. As well as being able to take part at home, the computer suite will be open at lunchtimes during the contest if children wish to take part during school time. Please see your child’s class teacher if your child is unsure of their password. Good luck everyone! Parents Evening Booking System Our next parents evening is on Monday 21st March and we are trialling a new automated system. We have sent a text message with a link where you can book appointments to see your child/ren’s class teacher. You also have an option to meet with our Headteacher, SENCo and Learning Mentor. (These are not compulsory meetings only if you feel you need to see them). Do not worry, if you are not sure just pop in to the school office or give us a call on 01695 724730 and we will show you how to manually book your appointments.
