It has been a busy term as you will see from the Round-Up on the other side of the newsletter and we have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you to all parents who have supported us this term and, in particular, during this last week.

It has been lovely to see so many of you enjoying our Christmas production of ‘Christmas Around the World’ – even if it was a little cramped! Following our collections at the end of the performances and the sale of refreshments, I am pleased to say that just over £300 has been raised for the Friends of Reydon Primary.

Friday 18th December

Christmas Dinner Christmas dinner was a great success this year with staff waiting on the children to serve their delicious dinner. Many thanks to Mrs Roffey and her team for cooking the meal and to the Friends of Reydon Primary for providing the crackers.

Important Dates for the Diary Friday 18th December – Last day of term. Christmas Jumper day.

Monday 4th January – PD Day Tuesday 5th January – Children return to school Friday 8th January – PD Day Wednesday 13th January – Year 6 French Trip Information Evening 6pm Friday 15th January – Rugby Club starts for years 4,5 and 6.

Friday 29th January – The Friends of Reydon Primary Family Bingo night at the Pavilion, Southwold Common at 6pm.

Reydon on Stage!

The children performed brilliantly during our two performances of Christmas Around the World this week. Nearly 400 family members and friends were treated to singing, dancing and wonderful acting. Thank you to all the teachers and support staff who worked so hard to make sure the children were all word (and step) perfect!

An Autumn Term Round-Up! Here are some of the things that have happened this term.           

New Governors Would you like to be part of Reydon Primary’s journey to becoming an outstanding school? We are looking for people to join our governing body, including those with business, financial or law experience.
