Masses Ana Maria Josfa Barreto Anniversary, Ruane Family, Burke Family, Una & Sean Moran, Pat Casey, Mary Gallagher Rip & her family, Pat Casey, Successful treatment, Canon O’Connor, Mary Gallagher died suddenly and unexpected in the early evening of 21st December. May she rest in peace. We assure Liam and the family of our prayers for them at this time. Mary’s funeral Mass will be at 11.00am on Tuesday followed by cremation at Blackley.

Kathleen Ralth died on 29th December may she rest in peace. Her Funeral Mass will be at 11.00am on Friday followed by interment at Blackley.

Mass on Thursday will be at 10.00am and not 9.00am as normal. This is due to our Bishop coming to bless the new Key Stage Two building at school. He will be celebrating Mass for us and the school will also be in attendance.

Candle at the Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. The list for 2016 is on the notice board in the narthex. If you wish to nominate a week for someone or an intention please mark it on the list for the week you desire. The donation is £5-00 which should be given to Fr. Glover. The candle will burn for the week as a silent prayer for your intentions.

School Governors Staffing and Finance Committee 4.00pm Monday 18 th January

St. Anne’s Book of Remembrance. At the Noon Mass on the first Saturday of each month I shall place “The Book of Remembrance” on the altar and the Mass will be offered for the souls of all those whose names are contained in the book. If you wish the name/s of members of your family recording in the book please complete one of the slips that are available in the Narthex and return it to Fr. Glover with your donation. This will mean that your loved ones will be remembered at Mass each month, in addition to the masses you would normally ask to be offered on their anniversary or in memory of their birthday.

Exposition and Benediction 9.30am Monday & Friday and 11.00am Saturday.

Places in our school. It is essential that any catholic parent who wishes their child to have a place at our school registers them as soon as possible. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOUR CHILD IS READY TO GO TO SCHOOL as you may find a place isn’t available. If you haven’t registered your child even if a place is available your child’s name and offer of a place will not have been passed to the local education authority by the school and subsequently a place at a non catholic school may well be offered.

Prayer Group Monday 7.30pm until 8.30pm at 19 Kearsley Road.

Parish Ladies of Charity are desperately in need of new members if they are to continue visiting the sick, the housebound and the lonely. If you are willing to give a little time each week please have a word with Josie Nickson or give your name and telephone number to Fr. Glover who will pass your details on.

Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets in church every third Sunday of the month 3.00pm until 4.00pm.

The Candle at the Shrine of Our Lady burns as a silent prayer for Albert Carter Rip. Is God calling you to be one of His Priests? If you think He may be, have a word with Fr. Glover.

Copper Jar. There is a jar next to Francis in the Narthex at St Anne’s Church. We are collecting 1p, 2p and 5p pieces should you have any spare to place in it.
