Collecting Bones
Welcome! We are delighted to welcome you to our first-ever Pupils’ Newsletter which has been produced by the School Ambassadors. We had great fun putting this first issue together and hope that you will have as much fun reading it. Please
speak to any of us if you would like to contribute to the Spring Issue of our Groovy Newsletter!. I collected shells from the beach until one day I found a bone.
I got it sent to a
museum and I found out that it was a dolphin’s vertebrae and that is how it was that I started collecting bones.
I
got a few more since then but
I
don’t
know
which
creatures they come from. I have two collections now, a shell collection and a bone collection. By Ashton – Y4
Gangsta Granny On 3rd December, Year 5 went on a trip to the Marina Theatre to watch Gangsta Granny.
Noah, one of the students said on
his way to the theatre: “I am so excited, my head could explode!”. In the first part of the play, it is about a boy called Ben. He hates Fridays because it is when he has to go to his Nanny’s. He thinks that she is so boring…. until he follows her one Friday and spots her robbing a Jewellery shop!!! They gave us a 10 minute break after that and let us have some ice-cream. By Conor - Y5

have roles is to be responsible and to care for the other people around us. All Ambassadors, Digital Leaders, School Council and House Captains feel that everyone needs to enhance their skills and get out of their comfort zone. We also strongly feel that everyone has their own expectations and abilities. We feel great when we are doing something good for others or the environment and are proud of all our achievements and that of others.

Cross-Stitching I started cross-stitching when my mum was doing one for my great nan as a Christmas present. Then I asked for one for Christmas which I got. and I completed it in about 2 weeks. Later I asked for one for my birthday and I got a big owl cushion. It took me two years to do. I am getting quicker at it though because I did the horse and Rudolph The Reindeer
