STEM EVENT On Tuesday we hosted a very successful STEM careers event organised by Hannah Hackney. Students had the opportunity to work with 10 different STEM based businesses.
Year 11 interview day On Thursday the Ace Academy hosted a very successful careers event. Year 11 and post 16 students had the opportunity to work with local businesses to improve their interview skills ready for the world of work.
A well done goes to Julie and the 6th form for wearing 'onesies' and raising a massive ÂŁ115.41pence for the Children in Need charity. Thank you for all of your hard work for a good cause. An update to let you know that we have finished with 67 shoe boxes. These are being collected next week. Thank you to everyone for their help and support. The magic number we were hoping to achieve this time was 50 (for the first time) and we have easily beaten his so next year maybe 100! My students are starting their collection this week and up until the last week of term when they will be going shopping to buy gifts for the children and their mums.
