November's Gospel Value Patience

Today Mrs Regan held an KS2 assembly introducing this month’s Gospel Value- Patience. Some of the children in year 6 prepared poems and prayers about patience; we thought you might like to read them!

God gave us patience To love and have fun People can be impatient But God will still love us Not everyone is perfect But God gave us the gift To be patient for him.

In November it is time to be patient So love one another as God has loved you!

Patience When your mum says maybe later You don’t stomp your feet and scream If you don’t want to wait, you just have to smile and beam You all know why we’re here and what we came to say So when she says it, just take it and so ok!

Elliyah Dear God, We all need patience in our life, we are not all perfect.

Under God’s eyes we are all equal but most of the time we need patience.

Guide us through November as it is our month of patience.

Give us courage to have a go and always wait for what we need.
