Introduction
1.1 ALT recognizes that learning that takes place out of the classroom is a valuable tool in every one of its pupils’ education if conducted within to a safe and healthy environment. 1.2 The ALT believes that all pupils should be able to experience the world beyond the classroom safely, whatever their age, ability, aptitude and circumstances. 1.3

2.1 The ALT has delegated to each Academy the responsibility for determining local policies and procedures for ensuring suitable and safe learning outside the classroom and educational visits..
