My name is Richard Prunetti, I am the new parent governor at Bishop Martin. I have had a successful career as a teacher specialising in performing arts, drama and English as a second language. I am currently the proud single parent of two children attending Bishop Martin and one who has now moved to high school after gaining a very solid foundation at Bishop Martin.

This week, Lions and Leopards visited the Beacon as part of their theme, ‘I’m a Year 6 – Get Me out of Here!’ Children continued to develop their survival skills by building some very impressive shelters; toasting marshmallows and chocolate bread over a camp fire and got very muddy when designing tree faces. Children communicated well with one another and showed great team work. We all had great fun!
