Friday 25th September 2015 Congratulations! Following the Creative Writing Club that Mrs Lowe ran last year, 5 of our children are having their writing published in a Young Writers book! We are very proud of their achievement and looking forward to getting a copy of the book for our school library. Well Done! Talk Topic The topic next week is See God in Everyone Collective Worship Next week is the turn of Year 5 and parents are invited to arrive at school from 2pm to share their child’s work before the Collective Worship starts at 2.30pm.
RE Inspection We have had notification that our Section 48 Inspection, carried out by the Diocese of Lancaster, will take place this term. A parental questionnaire will be sent home shortly. Vacancy We currently have a vacancy for a Welfare Assistant to work 1hr 15mins per day. If you are interested in the position or wish to know more details, please see Mrs Drummond. Forms We have sent home a Data Collection sheet and a Local Area permission slip. Please complete and return these slips to school as soon as possible.

School Admissions A reminder that if your child is due to start Reception next September, you must now apply for their place. If your child is in Year 6, you must apply for the secondary schools of your choice. All applications can be completed online. The closing date for applications is: Secondary – 31/10/2015 Primary – 15/01/2016
