How to support your child’s learning at home Helping at Home Read with your child every night ask them what the book is about, who are the characters, what do they do? Practice times tables every night, test your child so that they know all of their times tables when called out randomly. Ask your child to complete writing tasks for you, a shopping list, a story for a member of the family, perhaps they could start writing a diary of what they do each day and how they feel. Ask your child about their day at school, what they have been learning about. Make sure that they do their homework and bring it back to school on time. Encourage your child to come to homework club at lunchtime. Ensure that your child attends every booster club and/or tuition session.
Don’t forget that PE is on Wednesdays. Key Dates- Borwick Hall 13th-16th October 2015 Meeting is 16.9.15 at 3.30pm
