The building plans are moving forward steadily. We hope to see the Early Years outdoor area improvements over the half term break. Plans for the soft play space and sensory garden are coming along; a huge thanks to the Friends of Woodlands and Blackpool Honda for their support with these plans.

We have a small amount of uniform in stock in the school office for those parents still wishing to buy. We can order in any items we don't hold in stock, delivery is normally 2-3 weeks. Please contact Liz or Elle in the school office for a uniform order form.

It is essential that we have up to date information, contact details etc. for your child. If you have not already done so, could you please return your child's information sheet to the school office as soon as possible. Please contact the school office if you need a new form.

Outdoor Sensory Activity Area

We are now 4 weeks in to the new curriculum and staff feedback is very positive. We would love to hear your thoughts on the information that you have received around your child’s learning intentions and of the information around activities and learning experiences. (If you have not received this information please contact school as soon as possible).

and it has been lovely to see some of the children’s work coming from this. I am sure parents have had the opportunity to see it. Check out the website for our class blogs.

We have ordered a ground level trampoline for the Outdoor Sensory Activity Area. Once this has been installed the rest of the area will have artificial grass laid to make it a useable space for school.

Early Years Conservatory The Early Years conservatory was demolished over the Summer break.

The children are loving the extra space and both Red and Yellow classes are able to extend their activities beyond the classroom environment. We are submitting quotes to Governors from a number of suppliers to determine the best possible canopy for the area.

We will soon be holding meetings with parents to discuss your child’s work and achievements.

Soft Play Space

Each class has its own theme

Once the old changing rooms are tidied up we are submitting a grant application to hep us fund the soft play space and the Friends Association continue to fundraise for this much needed facility .

Macmillan Coffee Morning College classes are running a Macmillan Coffee Morning this Friday 2nd October between 10:00 and 11:15. We’d love to see you there. If you are able to support us with cakes or biscuits please send them in to school on Friday morning.

Lots of parents and friends donated goods from our Supply Drive this half term. We are extremely grateful for your support. Every little helps.
