MINUTES OF THE EXTRAORDINARY RYE SPORTS CENTRE ADVISORY MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY 10 JUNE 2015 AT RYE COLLEGE Appointment of Chair It was agreed that the position should rotate each meeting with a representative from one of the three organisations who are signatories (East Sussex County Council – Rother District Council – Rye Academy Trust). Lait 3- Disclosure of Interests No disclosure of interests 4- Minutes of the meeting dated 7 Jan 2015 A few points were highlighted for clarification in the proposed minutes. All present will need to initial. 5- Matters arising Agreement of the MUGA are now with the Academy. 6- ESCC Report Pauline Young reported that RDC has approached ESCC to request an extension to the Rye Licence for the Land that the swimming pool and car park sits on and which the Advisory Committee oversees operationally. The current Licence dated 15 October 2009, expires on 22 May 2024. The requested period is to 31 March 2026, this ties into the Rother Leisure Services new contract term.
