Masses Jim Doocey Rip, John Farren 60th birthday, Special Intention, A couple about to be married, Kathleen Cunningham Anniversary, Peter Hugo Clements died on 20th July. May he rest in peace. His funeral Mass is tomorrow at Noon followed by interment at Moston. Fr. Denis Patrick Dwyer one of our diocesan priests died on 25th July. May he rest in peace. His funeral took place at Irremore Church, Listowel, Kerry on 28th July. Sean Hastings (also known as John) who used to live on Lansdowne Road in the 1960’s and later on Station Road died whilst on holiday in Ireland on 11th July. His funeral service has taken place in Ireland but his ashes are to be repatriated and interred with his wife’s mortal remains at Blackley. There will be a Mass here prior to the interment I will let you know once matters have been arranged. Steve Bentley is looking to form a parish social committee that can ensure the continuation of running the fayres and arranging other social events. The years are now beginning to tell but Steve is happy to be the co-ordinator. Please give this your consideration as he will soon be planning the Christmas Fayre. Names to Steve Bentley please.
