Messages from Moor Hey Newsletter Number 37 (10.7.15) Writer of the Month for June Congratulations to: 1AC – Harvey J 2AW – Dylan K 3FN – Dhaniael C 7MM – Ashley C 8MT – Jack D 9AH – Andrew H 10AD – James H Inclusion Games Some of our pupils took part in the Inclusion Games in Blackpool on Wednesday. Andrew H attended in his capacity as Sports Ambassador and other schools commented that he was a credit to Moor Hey – well done Andrew! Chris L astounded everyone with his speed! Congratulations to all who took part.

Sports Day Weather permitting, Sports day will take place next week on Monday 13th July. Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch from 1.15pm. Summer Holiday Club Our summer holiday club will run from Monday 17th August to Friday 21st August. A donation of £7 per day, or a discount of £32 for the whole week, is requested. A letter has been sent home.

Moor Hey Midsummer Madness On Tuesday st 21 July our School Council will be holding their end of term event. Pupils will be divided into teams and will take part in an afternoon of quizzes. It will be £1 to enter, and each entrant will receive a treat! Sunhats and suncream On sunny days, please make sure that you have applied suncream to your child and that they have a sunhat to wear. If they need to bring any suncream into school to apply at lunchtime please make sure that it is clearly labelled with their name. Dates for your diary: Monday 13th July – Sports Day Tuesday 14th July – Year 10 Educational visit to Hanson Cement Thursday 16th July – Year 8 Educational visit to BNFL Thursday 16th July – Class 1 Educational visit to Farington Lodges for Pond Dippimg Friday 17th July - Key Stage 2/3 transition Day 2 Tuesday 21st July – Moor Hey Midsummer Madness
