Philip Andrew O’Connor died on 19th June. May he rest in peace. His cremation service will be at Manchester Crematorium tomorrow at Noon.

Parish Meeting Monday 7.00pm; to address the questions raised by Bishop John, regarding the future direction of the Diocese. If you haven’t returned the questionnaire, please bring it with you.

Mrs Regan our assistant head teacher has asked whether any of you are willing to be part of a rota helping the children say a decade of the Rosary together once a week. It will be on Tuesday from September during term time and KS1 (aged up to 6years) will be at 12.05pm and KS2 (aged 7

to 11 years) will be at 12.45pm. You will not be alone as a member of staff will be with you and if we have sufficient people will to be on the rota then it wouldn’t be too often.

Part time carer required for elderly lady. No significant nursing needs but does require support with personal care. Flexible hours would be preferable. Ideally about 12 hours per week and or 1 0r 2 sleeping nights. Experience of working with the elderly and a caring disposition are essential.

St. Anne’s Book of Remembrance. From January 2015 at the Noon Mass on the first Saturday of each month I shall place “The Book of Remembrance” on the altar and the Mass will be offered for the souls of all those whose names are contained in the book. If you wish the name/s of members of your family recording in the book please complete one of the slips that are available in the Narthex and return it to Fr. Glover with your donation. This will mean that your loved ones will be remembered at Mass each month, in addition to the masses you would normally ask to be offered on their anniversary or in memory of their birthday.

Going into hospital? Don’t forget to inform Fr. Glover on 740 2448 who will advise the Catholic Chaplain or call the chaplain Fr. Matus on 834 4104.

Places in our school. It is essential that any catholic parent who wishes their child to have a place at our school registers them as soon as possible. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOUR CHILD IS READY TO GO TO SCHOOL as you may find a place isn’t available. If you haven’t registered your child even if a place is available your child’s name and offer of a place will not have been passed to the local education authority by the school and subsequently a place at a non catholic school may well be offered.

Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets in church every third Sunday of the month 3.00pm until 4.00pm.
