Unfortunately KS1 sports day was postponed on Wednesday due to high temperature. We have re-arranged it for Thursday 9th July at 9.30am .This also depends on if it is dry on the day and also how wet the field is as it is forecast rain for the days before. We will send a text as early as possible if it has to be cancelled.
SPAR Lancashire School Games 2015 th On Tuesday 30 June Melanie from Yr 5 had the honour of leading out the West Lancashire Sports teams at the Lancashire School Games held in Blackpool. The event is the biggest School Games competition in the country with over 1000 children competing in a wide variety of sports from tag rugby to orienteering. Melanie was given this prestigious role after she entered the West Lancashire School Sport Partnership pledge writing competition. Melanie was chosen from the 52 primary schools across West Lancashire as her pledge was creative, inspiring and promoted the School Games values of respect, team work, determination, honesty, self belief and passion. Well done Melanie!!! Year 3/4 Liverpool FC Academy Wednesday 1 July saw 7 boys from Yr 3/4 travel to Liverpool FC Academy to take part in a football tournament. The boys came up against some very good teams from across Liverpool and played some outstanding football. All the children really enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to going back again soon! Team: Harvey, Lloyd, Ben, Lewis, Aaron, Rueben and Eddy. Well Done!! st
