St Anne’s RC Primary School Pupil Premium Grant Expenditure 2014/15 Dear Parents The pupil premium is a government initiative that targets extra money at pupils from deprived backgrounds. As part of this initiative we are asked to report to parents on a yearly basis as to how this money has been spent. Summary of Spending and actions Percentage of Pupil Premium Grant taken. Staffing support for before and 10% aftercare. Extra-Curricular Booster Sessions. 8% Curricular Enhancement; visits and 6% trip. Funding support for cooking and 3% music lessons. Additional reading support via 4% external provider. SEN specialist and Elkan training 15% (speech and language). Teaching Assistant Intervention 18% support- narrowing the gap. Specialist External Support; caritas 8% worker, Educational Psychologist support etc. Additional EYFS staffing to support 5% reading. Top Up funding for FSM pupils. 16% Additional welfare staff to support 7% FSM pupils
