Office Opening times: the office is open for payments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. 8.45am to 10am Tuesday- Closed.

Confirmation – Saturday 16th May at 2pm in Church (children to be in Church with their sponsors by 1.45pm). Have a lovely day children!

Monday 18th May -Walk to school Week begins with a special Assembly at 9.30am. The school council will be talking to classes about this event.

Year 5 & 6 visiting the football museum – full school uniform including shoes.

Year 5/6 Rounders Competition at Abraham Moss 3.45pm.

Tuesday 19th May School Mass 9.15am.

Years 4 and 5 visiting the Bridgewater Hall as part of a music project - full school uniform inc shoes.

Wednesday 20th May – Class Photographs including leavers photographs (y6) Friday 22nd May School closes for ½ term at 3pm, returning to school on Tuesday 2 nd June at 8.55am.

St Anne’s is a good school – OFSTED 2013.

*Year 6 will be visiting Crucial Crew on the first day back ( Tuesday 2nd June) after the holidays. They will be back at school for lunch.

Year 2 SAT Test Year 2 pupils will be sitting their end of key stage tests next week. It is therefore very important that all the children are in school, unless off sick. We wish Year 2 good luck with their tests and know that all the hard work put in by them and the staff will ensure that they achieve to the best of their potential.

Year 6 SAT Tests Year 6 children have now completed their end of Primary School Year 6 SATs. They have worked extremely hard throughout the year, along with all the staff and we hope that they will be proud of their achievements when they get their results in July.

Trip to Emirates Cricket ground to watch Lancashire V Northants.

Unfortunately this trip is now full and no further names can be added to the school list due to transport restrictions.

Marist Centre Visits

This week, our Year 3 children visited the Marist Centre as part of their study on the Sacraments. They had a lovely day and learnt a lot. Over the next few weeks, Year 2, 5 and 6 will also be visiting the Marist Centre.

Year 4, will be going on a retreat to the Shrine of Our Blessed Lady of Fernyhalgh in Preston on Tuesday 7th July, along with Father Glover. This is an annual trip Father arranges for Year 4 pupils.
