Vacancy: The academy has a

temporary casual vacancy in reprographic until the end of July. The post will mainly involve photocopying resources for staff. The working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – however additional hours may be required. This vacancy is until the end of July. English Ambassadors Blog So just why is English at ACE so great? There are so many topics, techniques and writing devices to learn that you really have no chance to get bored. The English teachers at ACE teach in a way that keeps everyone concentrated but interested and motivated too. They push you to do your best and help you whenever you need it. Recently, in English, we have been working on the famous novel Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte. To help us understand the atmosphere and setting of the novel in more depth, we went on a trip to Clee Hills, a place in the countryside quite similar to the setting in the novel. Being in a similar environment to the characters in the book really helped us to understand and connect with the characters. I’m looking forward to the future theatre trips and competitions! I think they are a great way to get everyone even more involved in English! Maths student of the week a student in (10Q2) has been selected as Pupil of the Week by Miss Grove.
