Office Opening times: the office is open for payments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. 8.45am to 10am Tuesday- Closed. Vomiting and Diarrhoea Bugs If you child is ill with a vomiting or diarrhoea bug, they need to stay off school for 48 after the last episode of illness. This is to stop infections from spreading to other children and staff and also to ensure that your child is fully recovered. Thank you for your support in this matter! School Attendance. We have been informed by the Department of Education, that they are planning to reduce the level of absence a child may have, within the school year, before they are classed as having ‘persistent absence’. Previously, a child’s absence had to be 15% (85% attendance) before they were classed as having persistent absence but from September this is being reduced to 10% (90% attendance). It is therefore extremely important, that all children return to school on the correct day following school holidays; there is no leeway for parents to take additional days leave. Nepal Earthquake Appeal. Thank you for all your generous donations last week. School raised £268.55 which has been donated via the CAFOD Earthquake Appeal fund.
