Unit 1 Understanding Computer Systems – The Exam (13th May) The keys to your success will be revision, knowing the pre-release case study (and referring to it in your answer), your common sense to read questions carefully, to answer in points (one idea for each mark) and to try and use technical ICT language.

You have in your plastic bag: 1. Pre – release case study for you to study (what are they hinting might come up! This sheet is my thoughts on it but you can also talk to

others who might be able to help e.g. parents who might well use ICT/Computing in their daily work) 2. Workbook (I will give you the answers the week before Easter) 3. Revise booklet( very quick revision when pressure is mounting) 4. LO1 to LO4 ‘colour printed’ booklet – (best to work steadily through this i.e. so many pages per day) 5. 2013 June exam paper with answers – (study the style of questions and the way marks are awarded + some questions/topics may appear

again in 2015 as this paper was two years ago!)
